Where to study Egyptology?

Many people are fascinated by Ancient Egypt. More than 6,000 years ago, people settled in the Nile Valley to create one of the first states we know. For thousands of years, they have left us with unique architecture, literature, images, and objects filling uncountable books, documentaries, and stories.
The desire to decode the Ancient Egyptian Language represents the start of the scientific discourse within this civilization and the formation of Egyptological institutions.

What about you? Do you want to learn to read hieroglyphs? Excavate an undiscovered tomb?
Or have you already started to study Egyptology and are interested in continuing your studies abroad?
The following list features universities worldwide offering B.A. and Master’s Programs in Egyptology. Here you can learn whatever you need to become an Egyptologist. Doing so can improve your knowledge and skills and get in touch with others.
For further administrative information, please contact the universities or institutions via their websites.
